Rebrand the small city Sandvika, located 15 minutes outside of Oslo. Showcase what Sandvika has to offer and what makes the city special.
Primary research showed that the city had a problem. People associated the city as a place to run errands at the big mall located in Sandvika, and were looking past the beautiful scenery and cosy restaurants it has to offer. The aim was to get people to want to spend time in Sandvika, and to brand it as a haven outside of Oslo.
Sandvika is a place where one can have fun, relax and wind down. The re-brand included creating a flexible and vibrant colour palette. The logo and icon library were both designed with a wave shape, inspired by the sea aspect of the city and rounded edges to appear friendly and welcoming.
